Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James broke his silence on Thursday and talked about the chaos that broke out the day before in the U.S. Capitol building in Washington during a pro-Trump protest.
James posted a picture of you on Instagram with a shirt that read in capital letters “DO YOU UNDERSTAND NOW?”

James was one of many sports figures to attack against President-elect Joe Biden’s victory protest, which exploded in violence. Lawmakers were evacuated and barricaded and law enforcement officials worked to restore order.

Many of the athletes expressed their opinions last year during the protests that took place in response to the assassination of George Floyd by the police in Minneapolis on May 25. And they continued to share their ideas on social media on Wednesday, when pro-Trump protesters reportedly broke glass doors and authorities drew their weapons on a door in the Capitol building.
