Wasteland Developer InXile seems to be doing an FPS RPG

Wasteland 3 developer InXile Entertainment appears to be working on an FPS RPG, according to new job listings. Pointed out by Twisted Voxel, the studio’s open positions, as Lead Gameplay Engineer, mention that candidates will be working on “InXile’s next-generation action RPG”, implementing “new first-person shooter features”.

It’s not clear whether Inxile is hiring for one in particular, or both, but the news is exciting anyway. Fargo is known for creating the Fallout franchise, and now that Inxile, Bethesda and Obsidian are under the same roof at Microsoft, collaboration may be possible. Fallout: New Vegas 2, anyone?
