Lenovo announced a new line of IdeaPad laptops for 2021. But American readers should note that only one of them will come to the US: the 16-inch IdeaPad 5 Pro.
Lenovo claims the IdeaPad 5 Pro is one of the most powerful IdeaPad laptops the company has ever made. The device can be configured with up to an AMD Ryzen H series mobile processor and “next generation” Nvidia GeForce RTX GPUs. You can also get up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory and 1 TB of PCIe M.2 SSD storage.

One thing that excites me: the 5 Pro is the first IdeaPad laptop to offer a 16:10 screen. Coupled with a 90% screen to body ratio, this should provide extra space for productivity and multitasking on a 16: 9 device. The screen also has a 90 Hz refresh rate and can achieve 400 nits of brightness.
Lenovo says you will also have a trackpad that is larger than previous IdeaPads, as well as an enhanced keyboard with “soft grounding switches”

You can buy the IdeaPad 5 Pro in May 2021, starting at $ 1,149.99.
In addition to the IdeaPad 5 Pro 16, Lenovo announced the IdeaPad 5G 14 (reaching “selected markets” at an unannounced time) and the IdeaPad 5i Pro (available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa from March 2021) that contains Intel processors. The 14-inch IdeaPad 5 Pro will not reach North America, but will also be available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in March 2021.
