Terry Gilliam told Bruce Willis in an interview

UK cult cinema icon Terry Gilliam gave an apparently routine interview in an unexpected direction – making a below-the-waist comment about actor Bruce Willis.

The director of “Monty Python” dropped the bizarre bomb while telling a revealing oral – or rather anal – story about his 1996 science fiction classic, “12 Monkeys”.

Speaking to Inverse about choosing the “Die Hard” star for the dystopian film, Gilliam, 80, said: “I’ve never been a huge Bruce fan before, but I liked talking to him and I thought, ‘OK, this guy is smart ; he’s funny.’ ”

Then came the shocking observation of the anus.

“I explained to him my concerns about him as an actor,” recalls the outspoken director of “Brazil”. “I hated the Trumpian mouth he makes in movies. Rectal. It’s like I’m looking at someone’s hole. “

The film “12 Monkeys”, which talks about a man traveling in time to save the world from a deadly disease, has drawn comparisons with the coronavirus pandemic in recent times.

Reps for Willis, 65, did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment on Gilliam’s low quality comparison.

However, the “Sixth Sense” actor was accused of looking ugly once in Gilliam’s homeland.

Furthermore, this is not the first attempt to speak ill of Willis in recent times: ex-wife Demi Moore, 58, blamed him when his bathroom went viral over the summer.
