This is the first rule to read about video games on the internet: don’t believe in random posters on GameFAQs forums. The posters there have now gone on to tell you how you can fully get Triforce in Ocarina of Time to now pose as game developers eager to wash their employers’ dirty laundry. A stupid speech by an alleged Cyberpunk 2077 developer has now gained enough strength for the CD Projekt Red to say it’s not true.
“We don’t normally comment on rumors,” says CD Projekt in a tweet, “but this time we wanted to make an exception, as this story is simply not true.” Normally, I would explain what the studio is responding to before quoting its response, but I think it is better to say that this is essentially fanfiction before I even get into the subject.
Broadly speaking, the ‘developer’ speech suggests that CDPR cut a lot of content and was sent earlier to reach the 2020 release date and please investors. The game is set to make a “return to No Man’s Sky style”, although the promised updates from January and February have been postponed to March. “Developer morale is down and Sony is plaguing us,” says the GameFAQs post. “Sony Japan is especially furious.”
The strangest part of the message is an aside about Keanu Reeves’ role in the game: “Our original Johnny was much nicer and looked like a maniac. Think of Foltest in crack. ”The fictional developer adds that” Our original Johnny was heavily inspired by David Hayter’s Solid Snake from the first MGS and, believe it or not, Cillian Murphy. “
The message concludes by promising how good the next DLC will be and the content restored. “You should have the full game by the end of next year, if all goes well.”

I have no doubt that Cyberpunk 2077 will become a much better game in the coming months, but perhaps not quite as this GameFAQs user predicts. There are other RPG games for you to enjoy while waiting for more Cyberpunk patches, though perhaps none set in a fantasy world as vibrant as this particular rumor.
