As cute as the relationship between Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan was, they unfortunately became one of the many couples who ended things in 2020 … and on New Year’s Eve, no less! Peter first announced the news of the split on Instagram and wrote: “Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for … These moments in life always hurt, but in my opinion it shows that it was worth the time you spent together. Thank you, Kelley. “
Following Kelley’s own ending statement about how she and Peter are in “two different stages” of their lives and saw “their future paths differently”, we are getting some inside information about what happened. And according to Entertainment TonightPeter’s mother, Barbara, had a lot to do with this.
“The change was the last straw in some ongoing problems in their relationship; the biggest one was that they were not on the same page about how they approached relationships,” said a source. Entertainment Tonight. “There was a growth that needed to happen to Peter that was not happening.”
ETBarb’s source was a “big problem” in Peter and Kelley’s relationship because she “was very involved and hoped to be a top priority in Peter and Kelley’s relationship … she wanted to be Peter’s focus”. Well, damn it!
For what it’s worth, it doesn’t look like Peter and Kelley broke up badly – after Kelley posted his Instagram post about the breakup, Peter commented with a red heart emoji:
