Local authorities have arrested a Kaisen Jujutsu translator, Stefan Julian Koza, on a total of ten crimes related to the possession and distribution of child pornography. The news comes from the Herndon Police Department police report detailing the arrest, which took place on December 7, 2020.
The Herndon Police Department arrested Stefan Julian Koza after an investigation involving the Internet Crimes Task Force against Children. Koza faces five charges of possession of child pornography and five charges of distribution of child pornography. The Fairfax County Adult Detention Center is holding Koza on bail.
Koza was associated with Viz Media and Shonen Jump as a Japanese-English translator. The old now Kaisen Jujutsu translator worked on the manga series in Weekly Shonen Jump. Among others Shonen Jump manga series, Koza also worked Dragon Ball: That Time I Reencarnated as Yamcha and Ghost Reaper Girl. Viz Media did not comment on the situation.
Kaisen Jujutsu received an anime adaptation in 2020. It is currently being broadcast on Crunchyroll and HBO Max as part of the Crunchyroll Collection partnership. In addition, dubbed and subtitled versions of the anime are available to watch online. The manga series is being located and launched by Viz Media, with Kaisen Jujutsu Vol. 0 release on January 5, 2021 in English.
