Viva Chicken, a fast casual Peruvian steakhouse, is expanding to South Carolina, officially signing the first of two lease agreements for locations in the Greenville area.

Founded by chefs Bruno Macchiavello and Randy Garcia in 2013, the menu is highlighted by Pollo a la Brasa – hot roast chicken served hot and fresh – the basis of Peruvian street food. The menu also includes soups, salads, sandwiches, bowls and a variety of unique side dishes.

“Greenville is a beautiful city and we have been on our radar for some time,” said CEO Gerald Pulsinelli in the statement. “This neighboring city is a vibrant community and a logical choice for our continued expansion, and we believe Viva will bring a new flavor to the area. We look forward to opening our doors in Greenville and sharing our vision of Peruvian street food with Chef Bruno family recipes. “

Opening in spring at 1139 Woodruff Rd., Suite B, the first location in South Carolina will mark the brand’s thirteenth store. The company has not yet determined the address of the area’s second location, but said the information will come soon.
