Cowboys’ Jourdan Lewis delivers a dirty blow to the Giants in the increasingly volatile end of season to be seen

Things are getting hectic between the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants, to an unnecessary level that could end up determining the outcome of the game – if it continues. With the latter leaving for a three-point advantage after scoring easily on his first attempt, the former tried to cheer up and match the serve emotionally, but is overflowing in a way that neither team wants.

The first was when linebacker Jaylon Smith perked up in front of striker Nick Gates, in a strange display of alleged fury that led the two to break up.

Then came an extremely bad decision from cornerback Jourdan Lewis, he head-butted the tight end Kaden Smith, resulting in 15 free yards for the Giants.

Fortunately for Lewis, the Cowboys were able to break the Giants’ momentum and force a shot.

With so much at stake, it’s not unexpected to see emotions spilling over, though not necessarily in that way. The winner of this contest has a chance to steal the NFC East crown from the Washington football team at the doorbell, while the loser begins his offseason planning in the middle of Sunday afternoon. If Cowboys supporters can’t control their emotions, or at least channel them in a productive way, they could end up being the team unconcerned about what Washington will do to the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.

And for Lewis, who may be in the final game of his contract, serving an immature penalty in an unmissable game and then laughing at it will not go down well in off-season negotiations.
