Celebrities say and do problematic shit all the time, but it looks like 2020 was the year of real consequences and responsibility for some of them.

Here are some of the celebrities who were canceled and faced more than just an online reaction this year:

She addressed the situation, saying, “I want to say clearly that I know that Vogue has not found enough ways to raise or make space for black editors, writers, photographers, designers and other creators,” began her letter to the team. “We also make mistakes when posting images or stories that hurt or were intolerant. I want to take full responsibility for those mistakes.”
