Brad Paisley is offering his support to a Texas-born musician named Buck McCoy, who is one of many survivors of the Nashville Christmas attack.
After watching the singer-songwriter meet his stray cat on television this week, after a six-day break from the explosion, the 48-year-old country star reached out to extend his condolences and a guitar from his enviable collection of instruments.
The gift will allow the artist, whose house was left in ruins and his belongings destroyed, to return to his show at Legends Corner every weekend.

While McCoy mourns the loss of his apartment and material possessions, he was overjoyed when his beloved cat, Molly, was found alive on Thursday.
“There was a car on fire. The windows are gone. Everything I owned was scattered around the room, ‘he reminded WZTV, before noticing that his furry companion was nowhere to be found and he was forced to crawl over glass and rubble to get to a safe place.
Leaving without Molly, however, was not his choice, as he kept looking for her until a fireman told him to ‘get out of here now’.

Then he said, ‘I said I’m going to go back to this burning building to find my cat.’
A week later, Molly was found safe and her story won hearts in Music City, including Paisley’s.
She was found “under the covers in bed” and suffered injuries, such as a fractured pelvis, dehydration and hypernatremia.
