Reinforced restrictions take effect on Monday at Vidant’s premises

Due to the increased diffusion of the community and the increase in the number throughout the region, the increased restrictions will be implemented in Vidant Health from Monday at 5am.

The restrictions and guidelines are observed in the graphics contained in the photo gallery.

Visitors are prohibited in Vidant Roanoke-Chowan and Outer Banks Hospital.

In the census of Wednesday’s Vidant system of hospitalized COVID-19 patients is 187. In addition, positivity rates have increased steadily since the Thanksgiving holiday, reaching a current rate of about 22 percent, the rate highest that Vidant has seen all year.
