Taylor Swift’s best friend shares a photo of the singer showing her finger in 2020

‘Until 2020!’ Taylor Swift is seen playing with her finger in the setback shared by her best friend as she celebrates the New Year

Taylor Swift said that 2020 was “weird” as she expected a brighter 2021.

But her friend Claire Winter Kislinger gave the damn year a sharper farewell early January 1 with a Polaroid-style photo of her popstar friend.

The image showed Taylor, 31, brandishing his middle finger at the camera, which his friend used to dismiss the tumultuous year.

‘I’ll never see you 2020’, she captioned the image, which seemed to be a throwback she had made of the singer, who wore a purple striped dress covered with shiny sequins.

She was looking over the shoulder of a man who had his arm around her, although it was unclear if it was her boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

Claire, who is a jewelry designer, regularly attended Taylor’s performances in the past and even accompanied her friend to awards.

At the 2018 American Music Awards, Taylor’s boyfriend Joe was not present, but his friend Claire received special praise from the stage.

Taylor’s own post on New Year’s Eve was a little more bizarre than her friends.

She shared an image of herself in a pink button-down shirt while wearing a thick brown bear jacket, with her face out of the bear’s mouth.

‘Bye 2020, it’s been weird,’ she captioned the photo.

The image led some of her fans to search for hidden meanings on social media, with some speculating that she was referring to the disturbing ending of the horror film Midsommar, in which a man is buried inside a bear carcass.

Taylor’s post comes days after her surprise album Evermore topped the Billboard 200 chart for the second week in a row.

The album was released with few notices on December 11, following its surprise album Folklore in July.

In early December, Taylor explained to Zane Lowe that the sister albums were inspired by the seasons.

“One thing I wanted to do with folklore is that it represented spring and summer. And when I did Evermore, I knew I wanted to fill the rest of the year and make it reflect autumn and winter, ‘she said
