USA: Covid-19 new death record for the second consecutive day

The death rate has not decreased in the USA due to Covid-19. For the second day in a row, the US set a new record with the highest number of deaths in the country. More than 3,800 deaths were reported on Wednesday in the United States. This is the most reported in a single day.

The experts’ forecast predicts more than 80,000 deaths in the US due to Covid-19 in the next three weeks. On the other hand, the USA is lagging behind in many countries in the administration and distribution of vaccines. The impact of vaccinations on spread and hospitalizations will make a difference only if the vaccine is widely available and current conditions suggest that many will not be possible until the summer of next year.

The USA has also set a record for hospitalizations along with the death rate. More than 125,000 were admitted to hospitals due to Covid-19 in the US just on Wednesday.

Officials in two U.S. states, Colorado and California, have reported cases of new variant infections. The first known case of the United Kingdom variant in the USA was seen in Colorado.
