The Packers suffered a serious blow on Thursday when left player David Bakhtiari suffered a knee injury during training.
On Friday, Packers coach Matt LaFleur called the injury “just one of those weird things that sometimes happen ”in the NFL. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers said he was “still in mourning” after speaking with Bakhtiari late on Thursday afternoon.
“I was waiting for some good news. I did not understand. You have to move on, but it’s still a little raw now, ”said Rodgers, through Ryan Wood of PackersNews.com.
Billy Turner started on the left attack when Bakhtiari lost time early in the season. If he gets the nod again, Rick Wagner can take the right attack.
