Federal authorities are assisting Wisconsin police in their investigation of a hospital employee who was fired for deliberately spoiling 500 doses of the coronavirus vaccine.
An Aurora Medical Center employee in Grafton admitted that he intentionally removed 57 vials of the Modern vaccine from refrigeration earlier this week.

In a statement released late on Wednesday, Grafton police said the FBI and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are “actively” investigating the case with the department.
Lawyer Aurora Health previously told Fox News in a statement that he was led to believe that the incident was an accident. However, the official later “acknowledged that he intentionally removed the vaccine from refrigeration”.
Aurora said she fired the employee and referred the matter to authorities, who were notified on Wednesday night.
