
The crazy playoff season for the South Carolina signer and the 2021 Class running back Caleb McDowell (Leesburg, Ga./Lee County) continued in the Georgia 6A State Championship game in Center Parc Stadium. Against Buford on Tuesday night, the multifaceted Lee County star scored the team’s first two touchdowns in the game, the first a 95-yard shot for a touchdown and the second a 32-yard carry.

Over nine regular season games for Lee County High School (Leesburg, Georgia), McDowell ran 105 times for 800 yards and 14 touchdowns. He also took 10 passes for 140 yards and two points. McDowell scored 16 touchdowns in Lee County’s four playoff wins to reach the state championship game, including four in the semifinal against Westlake.
