Orange County presents vaccine distribution plan
Orange County leaders have established their plan to distribute the coronavirus vaccine to residents age 65 and older.
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Orange County residents age 65 and older will begin receiving the Modern vaccine on Tuesday.
The announcement was made by Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings at a news conference on Monday.
The Modern vaccine will be administered to residents at the Orange County Convention Center by appointment.
The venue will open from 8 am to 9 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
On Thursday, the convention center will be open for vaccination for half a day, from 8 am to noon. The venue will be closed from Friday to Sunday for the New Year holiday and will reopen on Monday, January 4, at 8 am
Orange County will begin distributing the vaccine for 65 years or older from Tuesday
The announcement was made at a news conference on Monday by Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings.
Mayor Demings told a news conference that the plan is to vaccinate 1,500 Orange County residents a day at the convention center.
