For Bravo viewers, the RHOP The 5th season reunion left fans with more questions than answers. One question that viewers had was whether Potomac’s real housewivesMonique and Candiace were friends again (or if they ever will be).
The third and final part of the RHOP The Season 5 meeting aired on Sunday, December 27th. The hour and a half episode saw Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard Basset talking about a physical fight they had during the season. Although Monique told Candiace that she apologized for the fight and wished she also had her share of the strife, Candiace told Monique that she struggled to forgive her because of what she did after the fight, which included launching a song called “Drag Queens” that seemed to be inspired by his strife. (Monique denied that the song was based on her fight with Candiace and said it was about bullying.)
The episode also saw Monique and Candiace’s husbands, Chris Samuels and Chris Bassett, telling presenter Andy Cohen that they are hopeful that their wives can resolve this, so that everyone can be friends again. Despite the 11-hour meeting and efforts to reconcile the friendship of Monique and Candiace, it seemed that the two had not yet made any progress after the cameras stopped filming. “

When asked by StyleCaster in December about whether she thinks Monique should return, Gizelle said, “I’ve heard that question several times. I tell everyone that I don’t contract and I didn’t fire.
