Hawks hold choice # 4

The Jacksonville Jaguars and the New York Jets closed the first two draft options, in order.

The rest of the first 18 choices – teams that will not qualify for playoff places – will be classified next week. For now, however, the Atlanta Falcons have the fourth overall choice.

Atlanta never had the fourth overall choice in its recruiting history.

Two games have yet to be played at Week 16, the Sunday night game between Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers and the Monday night game between Buffalo Bills and the New England Patriots.

The order is decided by the strength of your opponents’ schedule. Other tiebreaker criteria include split tie, conference tie, interconference tie and then draw. Remember that the NFL has expanded the playoff format to seven teams from each conference starting this year.

Below is the draft of the 18 teams that would not make the playoffs if the season ended today, according to Tankathon.
