Nintendo now allows Switch users to recall their “year in review”. This feature divides the amount of time players spent with the console in 2020 in great detail. The way to access this program for yourself, assuming you are looking to do so, is also quite simple.
Created on the official Nintendo Switch website, a new page allows users to log in to view game time statistics for the entire year 2020. To take advantage of this service, all you need to do is log into your Nintendo account on site . From here, Nintendo will customize its own page, which is populated with the games you have played most often over the past 12 months.
Finally it’s time to take a look at your #NintendoSwitchYearInReview and see the most played games, total hours played and more in 2020! What were your best games?

This Year in Review feature divides your game time based on hours, but it also shows your stats compared to 2019, assuming you may have had a Switch last year too. It also highlights the total number of games you’ve played on the Switch over the course of 2020, which is quite new. In addition, it even includes a breakdown of the number of hours you spent with the Switch each month, so you can know how active you were during the year.
Finally, Year in Review also highlights the games you’ve spent the most time with. For many, I imagine that Animal Crossing: New Horizons will prove to be a huge waste of time, but everyone’s list will obviously vary. Personally speaking, Hades it ended up being my most played Switch game of the year, something I’m perfectly fine with.
These holiday deals are something that most console makers tend to do, but Nintendo is the first to launch one in 2020. The PlayStation and Xbox are likely to have their own iterations of this live service in the coming weeks. When this is over, we’ll let you know here at ComicBook.com.
