With cameras everywhere these days and the spotlight on them, it’s no surprise that we’ve seen pictures of real children when they’re not at their best.
Prince William and Prince Harry also grew up in the limelight and were also involved in mischief. It has been reported that the Duke of Cambridge used to throw food on the table during tantrums at dinner time. So, what else did princes get into when they were younger? Here are some pictures and videos of them misbehaving while the cameras were on them.

One photo you may have seen that has made people laugh over the years is that of a young Prince Harry showing his tongue while in Princess Diana’s arms on the porch of Buckingham Palace.
The year was 1988 and even then Harry proved that he liked to be the group’s clown by showing his tongue to everyone during Trooping the Color. His mother, however, did not seem very satisfied with his son’s actions. But, as we learned later, the Duke of Sussex liked to make faces when the media was around.

Queen Elizabeth had to pursue Prince William
When he was 4, Prince William was a page at the wedding of his uncle Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
There are some pictures of William looking bored and yawning in the church and another picture of him trying to talk during the ceremony. But it was after the wedding that he almost gave the queen a heart attack and the monarch had to chase his grandson.
When the Duke and Duchess of York left in a carriage, the prince started running after him and apparently came too close. The queen was afraid that he would get hurt, so she quickly ran up to him, grabbed his hand and brought him back to safety.

Prince Harry’s mother once had to scold him on the royal porch after he almost fought with Princess Beatrice.
While Fergie held her daughter, the little princess gave her cousin a playful nudge, but Harry was accepting and pushed her back with his elbow. At that point, Diana grabbed him and gently pulled him away while Beatrice tried to hit him.
In the Instagram clip, the Princess of Wales is then seen leaning over and whispering something to the future Duke of Sussex about her behavior.

Another moment on the balcony with one of the princes causing some mischief is when William was pulling the decorations from the balcony.
Some of the other young relatives of the future king looked on. Princess Diana, however, did not notice her eldest son’s antics as she held a 9-month-old Harry and attended the Trooping the Color ceremony.

Prince Harry showing his tongue again
Prince Harry was back showing the tongue to reporters from a car window in 1988, when he left the hospital after a visit after Princess Beatrice was born.
Years later, many compared that moment to when Princess Charlotte showed the language to the press and noted that she should follow her Uncle Harry.
