William and Kate share cards the children made for ‘Grandma Diana’

The children of Prince William and Kate Middleton made heartfelt cards addressed to Princess Diana on Mother’s Day in the United Kingdom.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posted the creations adorned with works of art by Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2, for their “Grandma Diana”.

“Dear Grandma Diana, happy and happy Mother’s Day,” said George’s card. “I love you very much and I think of you always, sending a lot of love from George xxxxx.”

The future heir to the throne seems to have inherited some of the artistic skills of his grandfather, Prince Charles, while he also drew a beautiful landscape.

Charlotte’s card, adorned with a brightly colored heart and with Angelina’s Ballerina stickers, said: “Dear Grandma Diana. I’m thinking of you on Mother’s Day. I love you so much, Daddy is missing you, so much love, Charlotte. “

Louis’s card featured a decorated heart and the boy’s name.

A caption next to the photos noted that the three children – who never met Diana, who died in 1997 – “make cards in memory of her grandmother, Diana, for William” each Mother’s Day, which is celebrated in March in the UK .

“This year Mother’s Day will be different again. Many of us will be separated from our loved ones, but looking forward to the not-too-distant future, when we will be able to give our mother a hug again, ”the caption also noted.

“But for those who are in mourning, it can be particularly challenging today.”

The couple also shared a photo of a sponge cake adorned with brightly colored pipe cleaners folded into hearts and a photo of a child Kate Middleton holding hands with her mother, Carole Middleton.

“Celebrating two other special mothers today made by George, Charlotte and Louis”, said the caption next to the photos.

Last week, Prince Harry talked about his broken relationship with his older brother William in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey, again confirming that the two are not currently on the best terms.

“As I said before, I love William in pieces,” said the red-haired king. “We have been through hell together and we have a shared experience, but we are on different paths.”
