South Carolina will open the men’s basketball season on December 29 in Kentucky, before returning to its first home game on January 6 against Georgia, according to the SEC schedule released on Friday.
The university will allow approximately 3,500 fans per game at the Colonial Life Arena due to concerns about COVID-19. Ticket pods are available in groups of two, four and six seats to accommodate social distance with masks necessary for fans and staff at all times around the arena.
The seat selection process will begin Thursday. Fans who had tickets for the season last year or who paid deposits for tickets will receive an email with the seat selection time.
Game schedules and broadcast information will be released later.
