Fortnite’s The last season is coming to an end, but Chapter 2: Season 6 is ready to start on March 16. Exclusively for the popular Battle Royale, which starts with a special narrative event for one player, called Zero Crisis Finale.

Described by Epic Games in a recent blog post, this event will fill the gap between Season 5 and Season 6, showing “completion of Agent Jones’ mission”. He’s the one who saw iconic characters like Terminator, Predator, Ryu & Chun-Li and Ripley & the Xenomorph Queen appear everywhere.

Unlike previous events, which required players to log in at a specific time, Zero Crisis Finale begins when you first enter Season 6, allowing you to enter when it is convenient. This could be a response to previous server problems, considering that the December Galactus event saw 15.3 million players sign in at the same time.

Epic Games has also confirmed plans to allow players to watch this debut live online first, if you prefer. Calling it “our most ambitious cinematographic story yet,” the details of the stream have yet to be confirmed, but we hope they will appear soon.
