Cyberpunk 2077’s Update 1.1 should put the problematic game on the path to redemption. Instead, it appears to have come up with its own set of problems. Per Eurogamer, players discovered a game-breaking bug involving Cyberpunk 2077’s Mission “Down on the Street”. To advance the mission, your character must receive a call from an NPC named Goro Takemura (photo above). Unfortunately, the way things are, Takemura will call V, but he won’t say anything, making you unable to progress on the mission and later moving the main story forward.
We are working on the issue that the conversation with Takemura may not start during the “Down on the Street” mission by @CyberpunkGame and we plan to launch a Hotfix to resolve it as soon as possible.
In the meantime, here’s a possible workaround👇https: //t.co/ujjxb8snGu– CD PROJEKT RED CS (@CDPRED_Support) January 25, 2021
CDPR said it is working on a hotfix to resolve the issue it plans to launch “as soon as possible”. We will update this article as soon as it is live. In the meantime, the studio has shared a workaround that you can use to work around the problem, but you will need to save sooner. As you can imagine, the Takemura bug is one of the reasons why 1.1 hasn’t worked Cyberpunk 2077 players. When CDPR detailed its update schedule earlier this month, it said the next update 1.2 of the game would include more significant fixes and improvements.
