South Carolina recently extended an offer to Anniston (Ala.) Anniston School Class 2022 athletes Antonio Kite, join teams like Alabama, Florida State and Penn State to do so. The news caught 6-foot-2, 190 pounds off guard.
“I was shocked that they offered me,” Kite said. “I definitely want to visit.”
Kite heard the news of the offer from the director of player staff Drew Hughes.
“Coach Drew said they really like my movie and that I can contribute right away,” Kite said. “He was really genuine and was very much in advance with me. As for South Carolina, I like that they’ve got guys thrown out of the defensive back position. ”
Kite also knows what he is looking for in a school and football program.
“I’m looking for a family atmosphere and an opportunity to play early,” he said.
