Linebacker Kyle Van Noy signed a four-year deal with the Dolphins last year, but he will not reach the second year of that pact.
Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Dolphins have informed Van Noy that they will release you. Van Noy’s contract provides that his base salary of $ 12.5 million is guaranteed on March 20.
Van Noy was expected to have $ 13.9 million against the limit. The Dolphins will receive $ 9.775 million of that space back when they part with it.
Van Noy had 69 tackles, six sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries in 14 games for Miami last season.
