It was believed that the Raiders were on the right track to cut a pair of attackers with the opening of the league’s new year, but they managed to find trading partners for each of them.

According to several reports, the Raiders agreed to exchange guard Gabe Jackson for the Seahawks. A choice for the fifth round of 2021 will return to Vegas in business.

A report that the team would free Jackson was published earlier this month, but no moves were made official and the Raiders’ patience paid off. The Raiders also traded the Rodney Hudson center with the Cardinals on Wednesday.

Jackson is expected to earn $ 9.35 million this season and will be one of the top positions ahead of Seattle. The addition of a productive veteran like Jackson to this group seems to be the kind of thing that would be an advantage for quarterback Russel Wilson in his quest to get less hitting in the future.
