The first 33-minute episode of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from their £ 30 million podcast was down on the charts after being released yesterday.

The show, a special holiday with Sir Elton John, ranked 17th below a podcast designed to make people sleep with the sound of whales, called Deep Sleep Sounds.

However, the episode slowly rose through the ranks, reaching 7th place today on the Spotify podcast charts in the UK, and 26 in the United States.

The Duke, 36, and the Duchess of Sussex, 39, summoned several of their famous friends to appear during the first episode, which features a number of prominent British and American artists, activists and musicians.

Public relations guru James Henderson told The Sun that visiting his friends was a smart move for the Royal couple.

He told The Sun: ‘Access to well-known people willing to talk about problems and their thoughts and experiences will always be of interest.’
