According to a PW Insider report, Keith Lee will not attend tonight’s event (Sunday, February 21, 2021) Elimination chamber pay-per-view (PPV) at ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. At the time of this writing, WWE had still listed it for the fight for the United States championship of three threats against Bobby Lashley and Riddle.
WWE mentioned something about an injury in Monday Night Raw last week and that’s why we haven’t seen Lee on television recently. There were indications that he may not be able to go to this match.
According to Insider, this conversation may in fact be based on reality, and the belief is that Lee is dealing with some kind of injury right now.
Once again, WWE has yet to officially remove Lee from the show, which is just hours away from airing. There are only five official matches and one of them, Lacey Evans vs. Asuka, is no longer being announced.
