It was a case of anger.
A kangaroo was filmed punching an Australian in the face as he tried to protect his children from the crazy marsupial, according to news.com.au.
The scary attack occurred on Christmas Day at South West Rocks, where Mitchell Robinson tried to scare the animal, which was wandering and digging holes in his property.
The kangaroo jumped towards the man, throwing him to the ground before fleeing.
The family friend, Tina Grace Rowe, told a Down Under news station that you could see the attack coming.
“He was just looking at him and he took something to try to scare him off, and as soon as he did that, you could see that he was going for him,” Rowe told 7NEWS.
“He was huge. He was a big kangaroo – big breast, ”she added.
Robinson, who already had a broken arm, happily escaped with just a scratch, according to the station.
