Injury report: Buffalo Bills is healthier than Kansas City Chiefs heading to the AFC Championship

While Patrick Mahomes was released from the concussion protocol, Buffalo Bills is still healthier than the Kansas City Chiefs going to the AFC Championship Game. The final injury report was released on Friday afternoon.

For Bills, only DT Vernon Butler and WR Gabriel Davis are questionable after practicing Friday. They were absent from training all week due to injuries to the hip and ankle, respectively.

WR Cole Beasley (knee) returned to the injury report on Thursday, but was a full participant on Friday. Likewise, Stefon Diggs was limited on Wednesday and Thursday, but trained fully on Friday and will be fully active on match day due to a hip injury.

For the Chiefs, Mahomes is dealing with the toe turf, but said he was fine after going through the concussion protocol. He will play, but it remains to be seen how mobile he will be. LB Willie Gay was declared out with a high ankle sprain.

The Chiefs had a long list of questionable players in their final report; CB Bashaud Breeland (concussion), RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle / hip), CB Rashad Fenton (foot) and WR Sammy Watkins (calf) were all limited each day this week. RB Le’Veon Bell participated fully on Wednesday, but did not train on Thursday or Friday and is also questionable due to a knee injury.

Injuries are probably a big plot in the game, as happened in Week 6, when Buffalo was without Jon Feliciano and Matt Milano and Tre’Davious White, Tremaine Edmunds and Josh Allen were all hurt but played.
