UPDATE, 20:19: The prolific music producer and music industry giant Dr. Dre said he was fine after being hospitalized for a brain aneurysm. Dre addressed his friends, family and fans with a shared social media post on Tuesday night.
“Thanks to my family, friends and fans for their interest and good wishes. I am very well and receiving excellent care from my medical team. I will be out of the hospital and coming home soon, ”he wrote. “Scream for all the great Cedars medical professionals. A love!!”

Born NWA rapper NWA who became a solo star and mega producer also co-founded the Beats by Dre empire with Jimmy Iovine and helped launch and manage Death Row Records. The many production credits from Dr. Dre, Eminem, Tupac Shakur and Snoop Dogg.
