Now, obviously, we can’t definitely they say Watson’s tweet is about Caserio’s hiring. But it is certainly fair to speculate that could be.
Watson, 25, of course, has been through the juicer during his four years in Houston. He saw All-Pro receiver DeAndre Hopkins negotiated last season, his former coach and general manager Bill O’Brien was fired after significantly damaging the organization and Watson’s Texans just completed a 4-12 campaign, despite having led the league in passing yards.
Maybe the rising superstar was waiting for someone other than Caserio, who had been Bill Belichick’s right hand since 2008? We may never know, but it is certainly not the best first impression.
