CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – A series of storm systems will push the Southeast with multiple chances of rain this week. The clouds will be rising today, as temperatures cool and conditions breeze behind a cold front that passes through the area this morning. This front moves north tomorrow as a hot front bringing warmer temperatures and a greater chance of rain. Another round of rain is possible on Wednesday, in the face of a cold front that will sweep the state on Thursday. Thursday will start drought, but we need to monitor this front for the potential for strong to strong storms on Thursday afternoon and evening. This front will be offshore on Thursday night and milder temperatures will return over the weekend.
