Sean McDermott may or may not rest a few games on Sunday against the Dolphins. Bills is playing only to determine whether they are the second seed or the third.
But the Bills – and the Dolphins – know for sure Buffalo won’t have the Cole Beasley receiver.
Beasley injured his knee at the end of Sunday’s game and did not train all week. The Bills discarded him.
The question now is whether he can return to the wild-card playoff game.
Beasley has the best 82 receptions of his career for 967 yards and four touchdowns.
Bills also ruled out the tight end Reggie Gilliam (knee / hamstring).
