Rumors and reports have been running for a long time now that Amber Heard will not be involved in Aquaman 2, or that it will, but in a reduced capacity than originally planned. However, Mera’s actress has already confirmed that she intends to return to the DC sequel, and while that may be the case, it does not mean that there were no backstage problems between her and Warner Bros.
In fact, it is not so long ago that we heard that it is still linked to the role, but its position is far from guaranteed. It is not yet known where the truth is, but insider Daniel Richtman shared some interesting information on his Patreon page this week, claiming that Heard is not very happy with the studio for pressuring her to leave.
