‘I love that Nick is with me in many places; the ocean, a beautiful vase, an urn and now in my hand. Nick went to Stephanie for all my jewelry, he knew that I loved his designs! My wedding and engagement ring are hers, so this ring is very special to me. ‘

Cordero was diagnosed with the coronavirus in March, spending the last three months of his life in a hospital.

Doctors amputated his leg due to a blood clot caused by complications with the virus in April, and gave him a tracheostomy tube in May, after developing ‘holes in his lungs’.

Cordero died on July 5, 2020. Kloots wrote on Instagram at the time: ‘God has another angel in heaven now. My dear husband passed away this morning. He was surrounded by love for his family, singing and praying as he gently left this land. ‘
