The websites of several major airlines fell briefly on Monday due to an issue with Google’s software that provides pricing and flight information for those sites.

American Airlines, Delta Air Lines and United Airlines websites displayed error messages when users searched for flights on Monday afternoon, but were operating normally after about two hours.

A Google spokesman confirmed that the company was working on a solution to the problem.

“Delta.com and the Fly Delta app are functioning normally after experiencing an issue this afternoon that made it difficult to purchase flights on delta.com, the Fly Delta app and through our reservations call center,” Delta said in an announcement . “The problem was caused by the technology failure provided to Delta and several airlines by Google. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
