If you’re looking for where to buy the PS5, Newegg had the PS5 replenished on Friday, as well as the Asus and MSI versions of the RTX 3080 and 3080 graphics cards and AMD Ryzen 5 and Ryzen 7 processors, but they’re all sold out now. It was notably the first test of the retailer’s new lottery system to deal with high demand.
How does their lottery system work? Just go to the cashier and buy any of the items (here is a list on Newegg) as usual, and you will enter a lottery to get those items. At the end (in several hours), winners will be notified via email or a Newegg app and you will have two hours to complete your purchase – or the items will move to the next in line.
It is an imperfect system, and we realize that people are likely to be disappointed, but it is a way that Newegg hopes to combat the rampant bots that are stealing PS5 stock before any human can buy them.
The game offers Twitter account was the first to bring disparate products together at Newegg:

As the Wario64 tweet notes, there were other high-demand items that have been almost impossible to buy lately, from Asus TUF GeForce RTX 3070, MSI RTX 3070 and Asus ROG STRIX RTX 3080 graphics cards to AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and AMD Ryzen 7 5800X processors. All have been difficult to buy since their releases in the previous months.

If you were unable to finish at Newegg today, check out Best Buy tomorrow morning as it has returned to stock today and may return in the next few days.
